Theoretical Chemistry taking place in Cleber Anconi’s group:
We work on computational aspects of host-guest Chemistry and intermolecular interactions of systems in Materials Science and Catalysis. Currently, Cyclodextrin-based and graphene-based models are under study. Structural aspects and interactions with other molecules are the main focus. The theoretical data are obtained through the development of methodology or the use of available methods of Quantum Mechanics and Molecular Dynamics.
Research Interests:
Development and application of theoretical methods to treat surpramolecular systems. Host-guest Chemistry. Conformational analysis. Cyclodextrins. Graphene-based materials.
